Store Rules and Policies
1. Be friendly and courteous to new players/customers. Some games can be intimidating to get into as a beginner, but our community will continue to grow when everyone is made to feel welcome.

2. No smoking, vaping, drinking, or consuming edibles in the store. Intoxicated customers will be asked to leave. For customers taking a smoke break, please do so around the corner of the shop, not in front.
3. Electric outlets are available to use for charging phones. Do not leave your devices unattended and keep all cords at or above knee height. Do not leave empty cords plugged in or dangling on the floor.
4. If you get hungry, there are many inexpensive snacks and beverages available for purchase in-store, including gluten-free and low sugar. Should you have a dietary restriction, let staff know and attempts will be made to carry new food items. Unique outside food and drinks are allowed.
5. Keep adult language to a minimum. Although the majority demographic of the store is 18+, minors are also present at times. Be aware of other customers in your vicinity, including new customers or young customers.

Our Discord community has hundreds of members from all political views and walks of life. Before posting memes or comments, think about if it would be considered Safe For Work. If you wouldn't be comfortable sharing it with ALL your coworkers, it's best to not post it here. Boardgame Bounty Hunters is a place for gaming, not comments or posts involving any political, social, or religious issues. Comments that are racist, anti-LGBTQ, sexist (either misogynistic or misandrist), and the like will be removed.
6. Proxying is allowed in-store at all times, for both card and miniatures games. 3D printed miniatures are allowed in-store for both wargaming and RPGs. Base sizes must still adhere to the rules for your characters. For Warhammer, codexes are not required to play, but please have your lists available for review in the official app. For all games, inform your opponents ahead of time about your proxies.
7. Basic hygiene is required to remain in the store. Strong body odor/perfumes/colognes, as well as cigarette and marijuana smells, can be a source of allergens or discomfort for both players and staff. Please be courteous towards others by avoiding intense scents prior to your arrival.
8. Support BBH with your purchases. In order to provide players with a fun, bright, and open gaming environment, rent and utilities need to be paid. Although recommendations on games can be freely shared between customers, please refrain from discouraging in-store purchasing in favor of online. Discounts are already applied for many items in an effort to help customers afford the products they need to join the community!
